KIMONO. Layers of Inspiration
20.11.2022 - 10.04.2023
Our exhibition will show a selection of about 200 items from the Manggha’s collection. We intend to demonstrate how the kimono accompanied the Japanese people’s lives in the past and continues to do so today.

The Imaginary of Nature
Watanabe Seitei from the Collection of the Manggha Museum. The Gift of Raymond Milewski
09.10.2022 - 03.05.2023
Our exhibition, the first of this size in the West, shows a thematic cross-section of Watanabe Seitei’s work: from kachō-ga, or pictures of flowers and birds, to phenomenal landscapes, to genre scenes. It also includes Seitei’s works from the collection of Feliks ‘Manggha’ Jasieński.

From the Japanese Collection of Feliks “Manggha” Jasieński
09.10.2022 - 03.05.2023
The exhibition shows selected items from the Japanese collection of Feliks Jasieński – paintings, lacquerware, ceramics, cloisonné enamels, and bronze wares – in which broadly defined nature is the dominating theme, mostly depictions of flowers and birds.
