Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology in Krakow would like to cordially invite you to the exhibition Dolls. Faces of the Japanese tradition. This exhibition is taking up the subject of various functions and roles that dolls fulfill in Japanese society. Interestingly, all presented objects, hundreds of figures, are from the Polish collections, such as the Museum of Dolls in Pilzno, Villa Japonica in Wisła and from private collections.

The exhibition is addressed to all those interested in beautiful Japanese dolls and, especially, to the younger audience. It will be accompanied by a publication of a coloring book with representations of different types of dolls and short informational texts.

Accompanying events in the form of workshops and meetings with specialists will occur during the exhibition.
