The catalogue of the exhibition archITettura / archITektura / archITecture, held in the late 2006 and early 2007 at the Manggha Centre of Japanese Art and Technology in Krakow, became a useful directory describing Italian architectural practices presented during that show, which in turn accompanied the exhibition 3_2_1_ New Architecture in Japan and Poland in its three Italian editions (in Rome, Milan and Padua). The selected architectural firms: +ARCH, 5+1 AA, Corvino+Multari, Mario Cucinella, Studio Elastico, GAP, IAN+, Labics, Metrogramma, Marco Navarra, and UdA, represent the youngest generation of Italian architects and just a small fragment of the contemporary architectural scene in Italy.
