Traces of Memory. A Contemporary Look at the Jewish Past in Poland

The Galicia Jewish Museum exhibition Traces of Memory. A Contemporary Look at the Jewish Past in Poland is coming soon to Japan!

We are happy to inform you that the travelling version of permanent exhibition Traces of Memory. A Contemporary Look at the Jewish Past in Poland is coming to Japan this October! The exhibition will be displayed at the Hyogo International Association in Kobe (from October 15th), and later in Kyoto, and Tokyo.

The Galicia Jewish Museum permanent exhibition Traces of Memory (updated in 2016) explores a variety of subjects, motifs, and themes related to Polish-Jewish history and heritage. The exhibition offers a unique insight into Jewish Poland by describing a series of different processes which, although rooted in the past, directly influence today's world and our future.

The Japanese exhibition is accompanied by a brochure containing captions of the travelling version of the Traces of Memory exhibit translated into Japanese by Prof. Taku Shinohara.

This project has been executed cooperatively with The Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and The Polish Institute in Tokyo.
Co-financed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Culture Promotion Fund
