The Culture Collider: Post-Exotic Art – opening

On November 9th, 6 p.m. Manggha Museum of Japanese Art And Technology in Krakow would like to cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition The Culture Collider: Post-Exotic Art, an original project by Goschka Gawlik, acclaimed curator from Vienna.

The 'collider' is not to be understood here as a violent confrontation where one value is superseded by the other. On the contrary, thanks to the reverse internalization of different cultures of the East and the West, new 'post-exotic' artistic qualities are created in contemporary art. The media presented include, among others: painting, objects, sculptures and video films presented according to the design of Mateusz Okoński.

Artists:
Ei Arakawa / Nikolas Gambaroff, Georg Baselitz, Nina Beier, Andy Hope 1930, Barbara Mungenast, Paulina Ołowska, Yan Pei-Ming, Imran Qureshi, Shuvo Rafiqul, Franz Schubert, Sung Tieu, Danh Vō, Kay Walkowiak, Hans Weigand, Guan Xiao, Lei Xue, Jakub Julian Ziółkowski
